Quite simply, Lacey saved my family. But, let me back up. My daughter was born 9 weeks early. She has always been super healthy, and for that, we are incredibly grateful. But her early arrival meant the newborn phase lasted for months, not weeks, and when we finally contacted Lacey, we were at the end of our ropes - sleep deprived to a dangerous level, and so stressed out from her nightly screaming jags that we truly feared our fiercely-loving family might never right itself. Enter Lacey. She stepped in seamlessly, understood our needs immediately, and soothed our worried and frantic minds. She is a consummate professional and expert, even (especially?) with tricky preemies. She listened to us and supported us and empowered us, taking over some of the very hard stuff without ever making us feel like we weren't capable. She shored us up when we were weak and we loved her so much we kept her on past when she told us we could handle things without her, simply because we - and our daughter, who took to her instantly - couldn't bear to part ways with her! My husband just said, "I'm pretty sure she saved our lives."  I couldn't agree more.

Initially, we reached out to Baby & Roost for short-term, night-nurse support for approximately eight weeks. Lacey responded with enthusiasm, warmth, professionalism and dedication, answering our many questions over several phone calls. I knew she was the perfect “fit” for our family when she described her approach to sleep training and it aligned with our views. She was knowledgeable about the latest books on sleep training, had years of experience working with newborns and knew how to prepare us for what life would be like with a little one. Her kindness and willingness to go the extra mile also struck us. For example, just weeks before our son was born she offered to stop by and take a look at the nursery to make sure we had everything we would need when we came home with our son. Finally, we were impressed that she showed an obvious passion for her work. She provided tailored bottle/napping/sleeping schedules for our son as he moved from newborn to infant and beyond, provided tips on what products to buy, and even helped us pack for our first plane trip out of town to visit family. She also gave us her personal cell and made clear we could reach out to her anytime with questions. As new parents, we needed that level of support. And, happily, she was always there for us.

The greatest investment we ever made as new parents was to hire Lacey to provide our son with the self-soothing techniques he now uses to fall to sleep. Establishing a daily routine also helped with our son’s sleep habits. Our son began to sleep through the night at 8-9 weeks. Our family has continued to benefit from the early sleeping techniques Lacey put in place when our son was just weeks old.

Feeling overwhelmed while pregnant with twins, I consulted with Lacey about overnight newborn care. She immediately made me feel comfortable with her calm demeanor and sense of humor. She explained how she would do everything to care for the babies while I got much needed sleep. This care included feeding, diaper changing, swaddling and sleep training. I booked her for a few nights a week which were  We always met briefly before I handed over the babies so I could share information on their days and any concerns I had .  Lacey was always a great font of knowledge to everything from burping techniques to swadding tips.  Lacey commented that the babies would always be great sleepers and they are!  Worth every penny for me to function in the hectic world of newborn twins.  I highly recommend Lacey.
